A heavy glass or crystal pitcher used for stirred cocktails. The wide mouth accommodates a julep strainer and the thick glass retains temperature. Often features a spout for clean pouring. Japanese Yarai glass mixing glasses are particularly prized.

Hand wash only. Thermal shock cracks heavy glass — never move it straight from ice to hot water.
