A flat metal disc with a coiled spring around the edge. Used with a Boston shaker to strain cocktails. The spring catches ice shards and fruit pulp while letting liquid through. A must-have if you use a Boston shaker.
Care
Remove the spring and rinse it separately; pulp lodges in the coil. Dishwasher safe once the spring is out.
