A conical mesh strainer used in addition to the Hawthorne for double-straining. Catches tiny ice chips, herb fragments, and fruit seeds. Essential for drinks served up, like the Martini or Daiquiri.

Rinse the mesh immediately under hot water. Never scrub with an abrasive pad — it deforms the mesh permanently.
