Sazerac

Ingredients

• Rye Whiskey60ml
• Absinthe
• Angostura Bitters
• Sugar
• Lemonoptional
• Ice

Garnish

Instructions

1. Chill a rocks glass.
2. Rinse the chilled glass with a small amount of Absinthe, then discard the excess.
3. Fill a mixing glass with Ice.
4. Add Rye Whiskey, Sugar, and a few dashes of Angostura Bitters.
5. Stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
6. Strain into the absinthe-rinsed glass.
7. Express a Lemon peel over the drink and discard (or drop in).
